The Department of Defence Studies has a distinguished history of excellence in imparting quality education to the students since its inception. Being a unique subject, the students have an inquisitiveness to learn this subject as a result of which the intake capacity of the department is quite high. The department aims at the holistic development of the students through interdisciplinary learnings and conducts seminars and workshops from time to time. The department has a highly qualified and dedicated faculty members who are in the process of tuning the young minds to make them highly competitive. The students mostly from this department have excelled in defence career. Most of our alumni are serving in the Indian army, BSF, police and other government sector. The Department is fully dedicated to the enhancement and dissemination of knowledge to empower the students to prosper in a rapidly evolving world.
