ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT

About the Department
The Education department was established in the year of 2015. It was initially introduced as a general subject. Education is a multidisciplinary subject is offered in B. A .course. It follows the syllabus of University of Kalyani that covers different aspects of education like educational theory, educational psychology, educational philosophy, statistic, Measurement, comparative education, history of education etc. Lecture method is followed for teaching students, regular tutorials, class tests on syllabus related topics are being conducted by the department. The department has well equipped reference books for the regular requirement of students. The department arrange online classes during pandemic period. The Department also encourage students participation in &lsquo;Spandan&rsquo; cultural competition organised by college cultural committee, college sports and other extra curricular activities.
