		Biography	Dipika Lama is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Defence Studies , SRLM and she previously worked as a Research Scholar in the Centre for Himalayan Studies, NBU. She has completed her M.A ,M.Phil and Ph.d from Centre for Himalayan Studies, an Area Studies Centre, NBU. With expertise in gender studies, Himalaya studies, environment and area studies and has made numerous publications and presentations in national and international seminars. She has received accolades such as university gold medal and the Rajiv Gandhi National Fellowship for ST Students.
