Mr. Asit Tarafdar currently holds the position of SACT II at Sudhiranjan Lahiri Mahavidyalaya, where he has been contributing his expertise since January 2020. With an educational background in physical education, he completed his Master in Physical Education from Fakir Mohan University in 2010, specializing in Athletics, after obtaining his Bachelor of Physical Education from Kalyani University in 2003, and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Calcutta in 1996. Before his current role, he served as a Contractual Full-Time Instructor and initially as an Instructor in Physical Education at the same institution, accumulating over 17 years of teaching experience. His academic interests focus on sports education and athletics, through which he has significantly contributed to curriculum development and the holistic development of his students. Mr. Tarafdar also holds additional certifications in Athletics and Sports, underscoring his commitment to the field of physical education.
