Biography

Dr. Shilpi Basak is an Assistant Professor of English at Sudhiranjan Lahiri Mahavidyalaya,West Bengal, India. She has to her credit several research articles and book chapters in different reputed journals and books. She has completed her PhD in 2020. Her doctoral thesis deals with the poetry of Kashmiri-American poet Agha Shahid Ali. Dr. Basak’s areas of research interest include Indian Writing in English, Diaspora Studies, Postcolonial Studies and Gender Studies among others.
